4029 is a production Metrocar built by Metro-Cammell at Washwood Heath, Birmingham.

Oddly when 4029 had LED displays and new door buttons installed before its doors repainted from blue with the yellow Metro M triangle to fully yellow to be DDA compliant at the time and door window surrounds installed instead of all the slight modification being done at the same time.
