4035 was a production Metrocar built by Metro-Cammell at Washwood Heath, Birmingham.
Oddly 4035 was made DDA complient at the time by repainting the doors from Blue with the yellow Metro M triangle to fully yellow and had new door buttons and door window surrounds installed before it had LED displays fitted instead of all the slight modification being done at the same time.
