4040 was a production Metrocar built by Metro-Cammell at Washwood Heath, Birmingham.
4040 and 4090 were flooded on April fools day (the 1st of April) 1992 and we're trapped in the flood for a day at Airport with the water subsiding on the 2nd with the flood being caused by the flood pumps failing.
