4082 was a production Metrocar built by Metro-Cammell at Washwood Heath, Birmingham.
4082 was one of the first units to be sent away for refurbishment in Doncaster and due to this it had Doncaster programed as one of the destinations as a joke.
When 4082 was taken out of it's Emirates wrap it had a repaint but the doors were done in the wrong shade of yellow being more of an IKEA mustard bottle yellow and they eventually faded to a muted yellow after a year instead of the bright yellow like all the other unit's.
