South Gosforth

South Gosforth is a station on the core section of the Metro Network on both the Green & Yellow Lines, it is here the Yellow & Green Lines split, towards St James via the Coast (Whitley Bay) & Airport respectively. It was built by the North Eastern Railway, later passing into LNER and British Rail ownership, before conversion for Metro use. It is also the location of Metro Control.
